Stop Giving Inner-Circle Access to Outer-Circle People
This episode looks at boundaries through the lens of friendship, emotional access, and reclassifying people when their behavior no longer matches the role you gave them. A personal story about a disappointing friendship becomes a way to explore early vulnerability, inconsistency, ghosting, resentment, and the painful habit of investing in potential. Some relationships need a demotion before they need a deletion. And sometimes the demotion shows you the deletion is still necessary.
If you have ever kept giving someone access while feeling ignored, dismissed, or resentful, this episode gives language for what is happening. It explores why boundaries belong to the person setting them, why accountability still matters when someone is struggling, and why behavior has to matter more than stated values. Reclassification means changing someone’s access level without needing to turn them into a villain. The work is learning to stop giving front-row access to people who keep showing you they don't deserve the seat.
